Richard Mellor
Creative Director

Richard has led Hyperinteractive in creating an array of effective and innovative interactive media projects. Under his leadership, Hyperinteractive has become a globally recognized studio, known for a passion to deliver great ideas empowered by world-class design and innovative technology.

Initially, Richard focused Hyperinteractives's collective talents toward youth and enthusiast brands. As business matured, he helped broaden Hyperinteractive's client list to include a more diverse group of brands spanning a number of categories. After nearly a decade and a half, the result is a client roster that features some of the world's most respected brands, including Coca-Cola, Mitsubishi, Scion, Sprite, Adobe, FUSE TV, Target, Sam Adams, Boost Mobile, Billabong, Volcom, Xbox, and Sony. The resulting list of industry accolades is equally impressive.

His hands-on management skills have afforded him a reputation for team leadership, client relations, and project success - believing that the best formula for new media is a fine balance between strategic thinking, creative excellence, and technological innovation.

He encourages this same philosophy as a passionate contributor in the area of design education where his current involvement is with Leeds University as a course module tutor.

Richard remains dedicated to the creative application of emerging technologies.
